On March 19, 2025, International Laboratories Co., Ltd., led by Ms. Narumol Sriwiriyalerkkul, Director and Factory Manager, received the Carbon Label certification certificate. This initiative was carried out by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) through the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).

The certificate presentation ceremony was honored by Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, who presided over the event. The ceremony aimed to commend and express gratitude to organizations playing a significant role in reducing greenhouse gases and striving toward the Net Zero goal.

The Carbon Label is a mark that represents efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of a product or organization. It involves evaluating the carbon footprint throughout the product’s life cycle, from production and usage to disposal. Products bearing this label demonstrate environmental responsibility and support Thailand’s future goal of achieving Net Zero.

The evaluation of a product’s carbon footprint encompasses the entire process, from sourcing raw materials, production, transportation, and usage, to disposal. The amount of greenhouse gases emitted at each stage is calculated. Products that meet the evaluation criteria are awarded the Carbon Label, which enhances credibility and assures consumers that the product has a lower environmental impact compared to other products in the same market.

Additionally, the Carbon Label serves as a crucial tool for promoting sustainability in the business sector. It encourages organizations to improve production processes and management to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as to utilize resources efficiently. Having this label also enhances competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, especially in markets that strongly prioritize sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.
